Hello all! It has been a terribly long time since my last post, sorry to the 2 of you that actually show up here every six months. Anyway, I spent a ton of my free artistic time over the summer editing and stylizing video from the previous winter... and had to set up a vimeo account to show it. Here it is, the third oil painting I have ever done in my life. The first two have already been sold, so I need to get pictures to put up on the ol' blog. I am really diggin' oil, seeing as I can do it when it is cold out! I am stoked on this painting, mostly because I am reading philosophy right now, and its true, you ARE in control of YOUR life!

You know, I wonder when the amazing experience of human interaction will be extinct. This is a photo of two people I saw talking to each other on their cells while they were two inches from each others faces. I used a really strange lens, thats why it looks like a painting.

A while ago I decided to try a small format painting on canvas, and this is what came out of it. Just like a team of people trying to work together on something, the hand is only functional when all the digits work together. . . otherwise it is just a blunt object. Not so useful.

Anywho, here is a painting Eric Deuel, Shay Vision, Pat, and I worked on in San Diego this last weekend. It was totally inspiring to work on the same board with these guys...
